Over the years, I have developed quite an international mindset. My bachelor program has taken me to the US as an exchange student, whilst during my master I have studied abroad in Beijing, China. It was at an orphanage in Cambodia during a four-month backpack trip in South East Asia when my aspiration to help third world development solidified. Upon my return in 2011, I decided to combine chairmanship of the Kembé foundation with a master in Finance and investments at Erasmus University Rotterdam. After developing a solid business plan and raising sufficient funds, we traveled to Dehradun in August of 2012 to initiate our project. Construction is currently underway, which I am overseeing as supervisory board member.
